The left-handed twin chooses a mere stick to symbolize humility and perhaps a belief in the power of skill over weaponry, highlighting a preference for a more honorable approach to conflict. In contrast, the right-handed twin selects a deer antler, which represents strength and dominance, reflecting a desire to assert power in the duel. This choice underscores their differing philosophies and attitudes towards conflict, with the left-handed twin valuing cleverness and resourcefulness, while the right-handed twin emphasizes brute force. Ultimately, their selections illustrate the contrasting natures of the twins and the themes of balance and duality in their story.
They fight with other deer and hit the other deer's antlers to break them.
Showing supremacy among the ranks and to fight other males for dominance. And when they grow their antlers long enough, they sometimes rub them against trees to rub the "leather" off their antlers.

Only male deer grow antlers. Females don't. Actually, antlers fall off in Fall and have to grow back in Spring! Males use their antlers to fight for the right to mate with females. They lower their heads, and charge, their antlers locking together. They keep on fighting until one gives up and the winner gets the female.
There is no particular name for when two deer lock antlers. This happens a lot when male deer fight, especially during the rutting period.
I Think they fight with them (:, Well the male ones anyway x
Bucks use antlers as a means to show other bucks they are stronger and bigger than them, and use them to attract does to mate. Deer are not the only species to have antlers; moose, elk, reindeer and caribou also have antlers that are grown and used in the same way. Pronghorns, though not a part of the deer species, also regrow their "antlers" (actually called horns) every year.to show that they are a male and to defend them self.
they can be but the bigger the antlers the more defence to fight but both might have a problem from see behind them.
Anderson doesnt fight right or left handed he fights southpaw (most of the time), which is right hand in front. Bruce lee was also right handed but would fight southpaw. I think they do this to confuse people, it also strengthens their weaker side.... so when anderson switches to orthodox people prob think that is his weaker side when really its his stronger side. But who really knows other than Mr. Silva...
