You probably didn't sit on the floor and scratch your ear with your foot before you gave the command.
i would use the word command in a sentience like this you might say i i trained my dog to listen to me when i give her a command
You need to train your dog not to do this. When you see that the dog is going to jump up you should stick your knee up, they will jump right into your knee. They will hit their chest and it will not hurt them. But, it does show them that you do not want them to jump up on you. Whenever you have company over, instruct them to do the same thing. This give your dog consistency, making the message that it is not OK ever clearer.
what you have to do first is, you say the command you want to teach your dog. then, as they get better and better at doing the command, you say good dog or give them a treat. sometimes, your dog will not be able to perform that trick for many diffrent reasons. but they will eventually someetimes learn.
the longest jump by a dog was 3.999 millimeters!
To effectively use a dog whistle to stop barking, start by training your dog to associate the sound of the whistle with a command to stop barking. Use the whistle when your dog starts barking and immediately give the command to stop. Consistent training and positive reinforcement will help your dog learn to respond to the whistle and stop barking on command.
To train a dog to give paw, start by teaching them the "shake" command. Hold a treat in your hand and say "shake." When your dog lifts their paw to touch your hand, reward them with the treat. Repeat this process consistently until your dog understands the command. Be patient and use positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior.
First start with the jump. Walk over the jump with your dog. Next put your dog in a sit stay and go to the other side of the jump. Call your dog over the jump. Next run to the side of the jump as you would in compettiom.
Jump rope
Let your dog wonder round that area make something bad happen there , and if it doesnt give it a treat when they are proud of them selves.
Dog whistles emit high-frequency sounds that are not easily heard by humans but can be heard by dogs. To use a dog whistle to stop your dog from barking excessively, you can train your dog to associate a specific command with the sound of the whistle. When your dog barks excessively, blow the whistle and give the command to stop. Over time, your dog will learn to associate the whistle with the command to stop barking, and you can use it as a tool to help control their barking behavior.
You can say "speak" whenever you hear the dog barking and give it treat and praise. The dog will soon associate the treat and praise to the word and action. Then the dog will speak on command because they know what the sound is telling them to do and they want a treat.
Teaching a lab to lie down is easier if the dog is a pup. Teaching the dog to lie down is easier if he/she will sit on command. If the dog is not at this phase yet; put a collar and leash on the dog, holding the dog still; with rearward pressure; push down on its hind quarters and give the command, (Dog's name), sit. Praise the dog if it can maintain this posture. Be enthusiastic but not overwhelming. A treat, a small tidbit, can also be helpful but only after a few seconds holding the position the command is given for. The command to lie down is accomplished by taking a dog from the sitting position and applying pressure to the front shoulders in a downward manner, while giving the command (dog's name), down. Once in the down position keeping contact on the dog praise it and give the command again. Stand up and holding your palm flat over the dogs line of vision give a downward motion of your hand and give the command down. I was able to train my lab in this manner when he was around 5 and 1/2 months old. He would do very well for short periods of time and then would want to play. Pups are like kids so stop training sessions when they are non attentive. Good luck
