Given an opportunity cheetah will eat food that it did not kill. However, it doesnt get a chance.
Large predators like Lions can easily scare off a cheetah from its kill and eat the prey. But, the other way round cannot happen because Cheetahs are not big enough to scare any other predator in its environment.
