Pets are spayed to take a responsibility off the owners and make them calmer. It is a lot of work raising a litter of dogs or kittens. Many times, they are often taken bad care of, or killed. Also, it makes dogs a lot calmer. When we got our lab spayed, he got 3 times calmer.
Puppies need their vaccinations starting at around 6-8 weeks of age. You should be taking them in to be checked out by your Veterinarian & your Vet will set up your vaccination schedule plus a deworming schedule. Normally a DHLP/Parvo vaccination is given at 8, 10, 13-14, & 16 weeks. Also at 4-6 months a Rabies vaccination is due. Don't forget about deworming at 6 weeks & again at 8 weeks (2 dewormings done 10-14 days apart). Discuss with your Veterinarian about Heartworm prevention and a once a month Heartworm preventative that should be given year around. Then there is the once a month flea & tick preventative that should be given topically year around. Don't forget your pup's diet too. You should be feeding a good name brand of dry puppy food such as Innova, Natural Choice, etc.
It is one way of making sure that they have the immunizations that are required by law.
The earlier you spay, the less likely your dog is to get certain hormone related diseases.

It would be a good idea for your dogs shots to be done before she gets pregnant but just think though , Do dogs in the wild have shots before they have pups?
You need to take them to the vets.
All dogs need their shots. Every dog is like a human. Every human needs a shot, so dogs do too so they don't get sick.

It protects them from diseases. So if you want them to live long, yes.
Dogs need to get their first booster shots at 8 weeks of age. After leaving their mom if they are not vaccinated they can get diseases like parvovirus which is fatal and caninevirus which is like parvo but not fatal. Talk to your vet and he will explain the shots that your puppy needs.
THEY WOULD NEED A RABIES SHOT AND A COUPLE CONTROL SHOTS Type your answer here...
I would not mix him with other dogs, you can't tell where the other dogs have been or if they have had their shots. Dogs will sniff or lick feces etc. Get the shots.
