Why don't they take meloxicam off the market it killed my 2 rotties within two weeks?

Because it's been well proven that if used correctly, the medicine is considered to offer more benefits than risks.

And unless you have the dogs necropsied(=animal autopsy), it'll be really hard to say that it was actually the Meloxicam that killed them.

Even with a necropsy it might not be possible to say for sure that it was the drug that killed them.

And even if you had proof that the dogs actually did die as a result from taking the drug, as long as it's rare enough, the drug may still be allowed to be sold.

If there are several thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of animals whose lives become better because of the drug, authorities may choose accept the "cost" of an occasional animal having an unusual reaction and dying from it.

It says in the clinical description of the drug that "life threatening side effects can occur, but they're extremely rare." If you notice your dog not doing well, simply stopping the medication should be enough to get them to recover.
