Acually horses sometimes do abort there foals they might do it because their not ready or because horses are prey animals and there might be a food sortage or a lot of deaths it the herd.Also horses abandon their foal sometimes to they dont want to look after it or it might have fatal dieses.Well just had to prove that.

Yes, mares do sometimes abort their foals. If the foal is deformed or sick in the womb, or if the mare is sick or eats poisonous food, or if there is a shortage of food or water, she could abort her foal. If there are twins, or if the foal has lethal white syndrome it could also be aborted.
