Zebras are prey animals, meaning that meat-eating animals would like to eat them. A baby zebra must be able to run very quickly, so that it can keep up with its mother and avoid predators.
A horse... i think
The stripes on a zebra's body mostly run vertically.
Well you see first an adult Male and Female Zebra mate then after 12 months the baby Zebra is born. after about 2 days the mother keeps the baby from other Zebras so the baby can get to know her stripes. after that they join the heard after that after about 10 years the baby is now a full adult. Now that former baby zebra is now in the stage of its life to mate then the whole reproduction cycle starts again!from kathryn

a zebra can run up to an average of 40 mph
Baby wildebeests can typically start running within a few hours of being born. It's crucial for their survival as they need to keep up with the herd and avoid predators from a young age. Their ability to run shortly after birth is an important adaptation for their survival in the wild.
Usually a baby can run after a few hours after birth but may spend a couple of days laid down being protected by its mum, until it has had enough milk and is strong enough to follow the herd over great distances.
They will run and kick.
