because it is saying that it is their territory and they dont want them on it and they are also saying that he is the newbie and kind of teasing him
A new guinea pig?
Most likely, yes.
you mean girl guinea pig? Right?!? Because if not, at LEAST two weeks.
No it does not relate to New Guinea. Europeans sold them for about a guinea, an ancient currency. The pig part comes from the fact that they sound like pigs.
Guinea and Pig
Guinea pigs can exhibit territorial behavior, which may lead to growling even if they are otherwise friendly. It is possible that your female guinea pig is establishing boundaries with her roommate, even though they are generally comfortable with each other. Providing enough space, hiding spots, and resources can help reduce tension between the two guinea pigs.
if you spend lots of time with your guinea pig then you should bond in about 3 weeks.
It is spelled "guinea pig". You got it right! :)
The earliest a guinea pig can mate is at the age of 6-8 weeks.
it mean that he or she is happy with its owner... (different person than from up there) it could also mean the guinea pig is afraid because my guinea pig does that when he hears a high pitched noise like when i play the harmonica
no the mom guinea pig will lick and eat the outside of the newborn guinea pig and you will not half to dry it or anything, if you watch a hamster or guinea pig giving birth on youtube or something or any animal you will not half to dry it the mom does all the work. trust me.
Are you talking about A GUINEA PIGS SISTER or your SISTERS GUINEA PIG??? I'll just answer both then... First a guinea pig would take a while to get used to the new guinea pig, but I'll tell you they wouldn't HATE each other. Second, it depends on your sisters attitude, but mine would be pretty happy for a new guinea pig, but still A LITTLE heartbroken at the same time. Hope this helped!
