Why is the tiger population decreasing?

Because people these days think that it is so cool to kill white tigers for there fur and the rest of the body parts are going to be used for Chinese medicane and for different propducts..in Americana.

Tigers have been decreasing because people are destroying the rainforests (their only home)by cutting down trees and moving too far into the tigers territories. another reason is because people are hunting tigers illegally as many tiger parts can be sold for a lot of money, such as the pelt for its beautiful fur.

2. govt. should organize national parks and wildlife sanctuaries .

3. killing of tigers should be banned.

Even worse, poachers hunt tigers to sell their skins and make huge amounts of money. Although illegal, it is them who are the true culprits to declining the tiger population rather than the destruction of their habitats. In China for example, tigers are killed for their body parts used in traditional Chinese medicine.

If we continue to treat tigers in this way, it is likely that they will become the first big cats to go extinct in the wild.
