Why shouldn't you scold your cat for bringing home dead animals?

Well i have three cats they kill mice and birds for fun (mainly)just like dogs with rabbits.

They (cats) also kill mice, birds ect for their owners to thank them for feeding them kind of like a "piece offering" ok

Hunting is a cat's natural instinct and your pet sees nothing wrong in bringing its prey indoors and proudly presenting it to you as a sign of love, so scolding the cat will not make it stop. It will not understand why you do not want its offering.

There are a few theories on why a cat brings its owner such 'gifts': your cat is trying to teach you hunting skills much like a mother cat would bring prey for her kittens. This could also mean that your cat simply wanted to bring you a gift of food.

The best way of dealing with this is to praise your cat lightly for the gift, and then dispose of the creature's remains while the cat is distracted elsewhere, or if the creature is alive, place it back outside but far enough away so your cat can't immediately catch it again. Alternatively, keep your cat indoors during dusk and dawn, when your cat is usually most active.
