Well when you say something hurtfull people will be either sad or would love you even more (parents do that sometimes and then there are those who eternally want to fix other ppl). You hurt her feelings and since she's not obsessed with you and is confident enough to go out and find someone else, she left you (hopefully for good). She probably doesn't want to contact mutual friends since she doesn't want to have anyone or anything around her that remind her of you (she must really hate you).
