We have an English Bulldog with a "poo pocket" underneath her tail. Although we wipe her and try to keep it clean it goes almost a fingerlength deep and it it's almost impossible to keep dry. The moisture collects bacteria and smells awful. The vet has suggested a cadectomy which should elimate the problem and hopefully, the odor.
