The only info I could find on copper water bowls, was from sites selling copper water bowls. They claim that Copper is scientifically-proven to inhibit bacteria growth, but I couldn't find anything scientific on benefits of using a copper water bowl for dogs.
Copper is necessary in production of melanin, the pigment that colors coat and skin, and is linked with iron metabolism. Deficiencies can cause a bone disorder and anemia even if iron intake is normal. Some breeds though, can store toxic amounts of copper in the liver, causing hepatitis and cirrhosis.
Why take chances? A stainless steel dog bowl is extremely durable, and doesn't have the possible side effect of Liver damage. Clean any water bowl you use at least once a week.
you make sure that the foot that is hurt is cleaned well and that there is no dirt or anything on it then you get a bowl of warm or hot water and let the hurt foot sit for about a half an hour.

no, dogs are not hurt by cold water, however, they would prefer cool or room temperature water if they had their choice. So basically they prefer what they like most, cold water and cool water for your dog is no different, they are both good :)
NO IT DOES NOT.
Never hurt your dogs. You can say "no.", But don't hurt them. if you say "NO" IN A LOUD voice then the dog will know that you are angry and he did something wrong

Your dog may be drinking from the water fountain, because the flowing water is fresher than stagnate water in a bowl. Make sure your dog has fresh water several times a day.
