You never know, as it depends on the dogs and their personality. I have a mini dachshund (male) who loves all other dogs he has ever been around. However, my sister who lives with me got a male toy poodle. They do not get along at all. My dachshund was neutered before the poodle arrived, and the poodle got neutered when he was age appropriate. They have been in a dominance struggle since arrival. The poodle is very mean and temperamental to the dachshund. The dachshund has had a personality change. Its strange. I think that it is related to something about the personality of the poodle, which I understand is common for their breed. They are in the top of the list for agression and biting. I would consider this before I brought them into a home together. I would also get a male and female instead of the same sexes. Being neutered doesnt seem to have helped these two. Hope this helps.
There's Miniature Poodles and Toy Poodles, Toy Poodles can be just as big, or bigger then a Rottweiler depending on parents and how well they're looked after, the smallest a Miniature Poodle would get is about the size of a Jack Russel Terrier.
Miniature Dachshunds are not considered rare, as they are a popular breed both in the United States and around the world. However, their availability may vary depending on location and breeders. It's important to find a reputable breeder to ensure you get a healthy and well-socialized Miniature Dachshund.
well i have a min poodle mix (with lhassa apso), but she usually doesn't, but sometimes she really wants my food and she gets exited and that's the only reason sometimes she shakes a little.
well im 13 and wanted one but in my opinion get a chihuahua they are more friendly i would say
First of all, it depends on how big the mother and father are. If it is a standard dachshund, then most likely it would be something around 11-18 pounds, but larger than a miniature Dachshund and Chihuahua mix. On the other hand, a miniature Dachshund and Chihuahua mix should weigh something around 8-10.9 pounds.
well mine does she is a lazy toy poodle
Well, if your dog is overweight it will take longer. I would guess a week if doesn't eat much at all. You should contact a veterinarian if your dog isn't eating.
12 to 14 years is the expected life span of a miniature poodle. I know that there are exceptions to every rule, but I have a miniature poodle (22 pounds) that is 17 years old and still getting on quite well. He has a little arthritis in his hips, can't see too well due to cataracts and his hearing has diminished, but the little guy still loves to ride on the golf cart, bark at the ducks and has a great appetite. Also still very affectionate. His favorite meal? A Sonic Junior Deluxe Burger, which he has 3 times a week. Hey, at his age, what the heck. I highly recommend a poodle for most considering a dog. There is a stigma out there that poodles are little yappers that old ladies carry around. NOT SO. I have had two of them, and they are what you make them. Mine are quite macho little guys that catch Frisbees, love to run, great watchdogs, great travelers, extremely smart and easy to train. If they have a fault, it might be their initial attitude toward small children. Mine have been slow to accept them and a little nervous around them. Given time to get to know them, they love them and even get protective of them.
To keep a miniature poodle warm outside in winter, dress them in a well-fitting, insulated dog coat that covers their body and neck. Ensure they have a pair of dog booties to protect their paws from ice and salt. Limit their time outdoors to avoid prolonged exposure to cold temperatures, and provide them with a warm blanket or bedding if they need to stay outside for any reason. Lastly, always monitor their behavior for signs of discomfort or cold.
Border Collie is the smartest dog. The second smartest dog is a Poodle.
10-15 years. Some live less, while some live longer.
well if ur thinking of greyfriars bobby he was a skye terrier not a poodle
