"most deffinately. my dog ate part of a tennis ball, a Christmas ornimant, and
a Nerf ball. we had to take her to the veteranarin's right away for x-rays."
I don't know who gave this answer, but it isn't really an answer at all. It just says that they have no clue and that because they have no clue they rushed their dog to the vet when he/she ate rubber. My dog eats the heck out of her rubber toys and as long as she breaks it up small and it can be swallowed and passed through her easily, I havent seen a problem. I would like to know if there is some kind of other problems I should be looking for associated with her eating rubber.
Yes, both will suffer from ptsd. It also depends on the level of physical contact upon the balls.
no but you should not they do po a lot if you feed em it
It depends on their breed and nature but most dogs enjoy sleeping, eating and playing with tennis balls.
He may get a little stinky and may just throw it up but no.
Well, if the food doesn't have much bone health in it, when the dog gets older, it could get bone problems, including in the hips. So yes, bad food can hurt a dog's hips
The best non-toxic balls for dogs to play with are typically made of natural rubber or durable materials like nylon or thermoplastic rubber. Look for products that are labeled as non-toxic and safe for pets to ensure your dog's safety during playtime.
Yes, eating highlighters can be harmful to dogs as they contain toxic chemicals. If your dog has ingested a highlighter, it is important to contact your veterinarian immediately for guidance and treatment.
No, I did not intentionally hurt my dog.
If your dog ate a sponge, you MUST take the dog to a Vet, immediately. Dog cannot digest sponges, tennis balls, rubber balls, foam from pillows or cushions, or ANY other non-food items. It WILL block his intestines and make the dog very sick. Eventually, the dog will start vomiting. The dog will stop eating and become lethargic. Bowel movements will either stop or become only diarrhea. And the dog will end up dying. Most dogs need surgery to remove the undigested toys and household items. Please see your vet to save your dog.

It is ok, but of course not chocolate. Also, try not to make it a habbit, because the dog will get used to eating human food and will stop eating normal dog food which has health benefits for the dog. It is also not good if you ever have guests over, as the dog will sit and watch your guests eating until they feed the dog, and that can be quite unpleasent for the guest. But every once in a while as a treat will not hurt :-)
although most dogs have a good immune system, but there can be a chance that the dog gets sick. I would recommend a quick check by a pet-docter. Its not deadly, if that is what you are asking ;)
