It sounds like your cat has an infection and should be taken to the vet ASAP. Tell the vet you can't pay, but are willing to clean cages, sweep up, etc., to pay off the bill.

Totally agree with Marcy, don't leave this it could get serious and even damage or blind the eyes if left untreated or left too long i think some vets have a payment plan now or you can get a loan from a friend, but you really have to take the cat to a vet.
