There are a variety of situations that would have caused this outcome.
1. The female dog was unsupervised while in heat (this is a 3 week long process) and had a multiple sire litter. This is possible to have with dogs. They are still fertile after they are bred and so another dog could have bred with her.
2. One or both are not an AKC Boxer. This is the only guarantee that they are pure boxer. They may look one way but a parent, grand or great parent may have well been a hound. So this will always contribute to the genetics of this dog(s).
No a pit and a boxer are different breeds though they have similar characteristics they are not the same dog.

This hound will not fight whatsoever. Pitbulls are the strongest fighting dog in the world and matching another breed to them is cruel. Pitbulls are loyal and very good with people and good house animals. I dont sporsor dog fighting.
