That sounds like your ferret may have ECE which is a Mystery Virus. it was originally called the "greenies" but the actual name for it is epizootic catarrhal enteritis. Ferrets dont usually die from this disease specifically its more of the way the disease affects the rest of the body. All baby ferrets can carry ECE and when it is introduced to an older ferret, or a ferret recovering from an illness they are more prone to getting it. Take them to the vet IMMIDIATLY
