You must have no less than five members of an executive committee. This is to insure that a majority can be obtained if a decision is being made on an issue, through voting. You also need to have positions in place with succession. These positions must be acquired through a majority vote, via election. The requirements of the positions are set up by the first committee elected. (A major part of meetings by a committee is to have someone assigned to be the Parliamentarian. This position is given to someone who will keep control of the meetings and make sure everyone gets a chance to voice their opinion without interruption.)
