The job of the project manager is to bring in a project, "On time and under budget". A successful completion of a project "on time and under budget" assures profit for the company and brings integrity to the claims that are made by the sales force. In other words, the company gains when a project manager is successful; prospective buyers can feel more confidence in a company that is able to keep the promises that are made during a sales presentation.
Some managers are reluctant to participate in budgeting because they do not like to discuss financial matters. They may also feel like developing a budget stops flexibility in an organization. Some want to control all the money without any restraints.
An employee engagement manager is responsible for creating and implementing strategies to improve employee morale, motivation, and satisfaction within a company. This includes developing programs, initiatives, and events to foster a positive work environment, promoting open communication, and addressing any issues that may affect employee engagement. They also work to build strong relationships between employees and management, and to ensure that employees feel valued and supported in their roles.
Tell the Manager
Go to the store, ask if they're hiring, ask for an application, and then ask to speak to a manager. It used to be that the store manager or chain managers are the only ones that can actually hire you, but you can get a good feel for how you'd fit in by talking to any manager. Be prepared to let them know how hard you'll work, what hours you can work, and any restrictions that would keep you from working there.
This really is not a legal question, but instead, it pertains to store policy. That said, if you are performing the duties of a store manager but not earning what you feel to be adequate pay, you are certainly free to negotiate for more, or leave. Additionally, if you have valid reasons to believe that you are being treated differently from others similarly situated, you may have a legal basis to feel that you are being subjected to discrimination. Keep in mind, however, that you generally need to be within a "legally protected class" in order to gain any traction with such a discrimination argument (such as race, age, gender, etc.).

There are many things that a person may feel that they can contribute to the role they are applying for. They may be very friendly for example.
PleasE specify what job/position this is.
As this question is part of a job application, the only way you can stand out is if YOU answer what YOU would bring. If you feel you cant answer this question then perhaps the job is not for you.
You need to judge the actual manager, no matter what age, because even an older manager can be a pain in the neck.

Briefly explain why you feel you are the ideal candidate for this position as a laundry attendant
The salary for this position is sufficient to make you feel confident and prepared.
First, you may already be aware that most stores currently are not offering full times positions to people, even if they transfer to the same position in a different store. So you might want to ask the store(s) you are interested in about this. Next, if you get along with your store managers you might speak to them about this. The reason I suggest the store manager is that at some point the store manager will get your request through the Walmart computer and have to approve you leaving. Also, store managers (not all know how to do this), can go onto the dashboard and see postions in other stores that are open. They also may have connections at that store to help you get a good position. If you don't feel comfortable speaking with your store manager, then i suggest speaking with your personnel manager (not required though). You do though need a username/password to log onto the "wire" at work. Search for "personnel dashobard" On that link it will let you know your career preferences of what areas in your own store you are interested in. Somewhere on a side link it will list for you to put in for a transfer. It will then ask you for what stores you want to put in for a transfer and for what departments in the store as well. Keep in mind that if you want to transfer to a store that needs someone in the electronics and you know nothing about it, you will not be able to transfer.
