Human Resource represents the employees or the workforce of an organization.

For any type of organization, especially for a service-oriented organization, the investment should center on the human resource. There should be plans not only on providing an incentive program to them but also in developing and upgrading their knowledge and skills. Without the manpower to bring the services to clients, the goals of the organization won't be realized.

Even with a machine-operated organization (such as an industrial plant operated by machines and computers), manpower is still needed not only to start the machine and computers running but to oversee the smooth flow of the business and/or troubleshoot technical problems that may arise.
