An organisational chart is an illustration that portrays the structure of a corporation in terms of relationships among personnel or departments as well as distinctively showing the lines of authority and responsibility within the corporation. There are three different forms of organisational charts, hierarchical, matrix and flat. The determination of the chart used is based upon the corporation's size and style, although the chart most commonly used is the hierarchical, it is well liked for its horizontal or vertical (depending on how you draw the chart) tree like structure that contains geometric shapes allowing a very easy to build and read design.

The purpose of the organisational chart is to demonstrate to the members of staff the distribution of power within the company, showing them their contractual position, who's their boss and who's their subordinates. The chart will show the domain of every employee. Employees require it so they know who to go to should conflicts arise or major problems and employers require it to view their organization and to meet development and workforce management objectives. also you need to get a brain and without charts you wont know who's dumb and who's not u See
