Thank you notes are a combination of very few things: title of the person, thanks and reason for thanking the person, saying that you apreciated the help or the deed of the person, and a polite ending.
Ex: Madame, (or Dear Cindy, or whatever you would call the person if she was standing there), je veux vous remercier pour avoir ... (I want to thank you for ...). Je tiens à vous dire que cela nous a beaucoup aidé / touché (I want to tell you that we did greatly appreciate your help / your kind words / your ...)
Bien à vous, ... (yours sincerely, name)
If you really want to but it would be rather silly. Would you then expect the recipient of your thank you note for their thank you note to write a thank you note for that too?
