Personally it doesnt matter but i do know in "society" its more appropriate for a guy to ask a girl. But if the girl REALLY does like the guy then there's nothing wrong with her asking him. O.K. this is like asking everyone so yes im a dude and in my opinion i say the dude should ask the chick out .cuz were called the "jental"men and the chicks are the HOT!☼! ones so c(:

Because of the stereotypical reasoning nowadays, it's the man who makes the first move, quite frankly, it does NOT matter. If you want to make the first move now, go ahead and do it.

There are no rules about it-- just customs; and customs are changing all the time. Years ago, only guys asked girls out, and it was considered weird (or not normal) for a girl to make the first move. But these days, while it is still more common for guys to do the asking, there are many girls who ask a guy out; and there is nothing wrong with doing so. It simply depends on what the customs are where you live (are people more traditional or more modern); and it also depends on your own personality-- whether you prefer to wait to be asked, or whether you are willing to take a chance and do the asking.
