Yes.
You are sending money to a man - Russ Dalbey - who promises you untold riches. He has testimonials from regular folk, all speaking of the tens of thousands of dollars they made in weeks! He offers "secrets" to make money in specialized areas of real estate, and of course, you need no training or education for this, just his easy three step program!
Is he going to send you something, when you send him money? Sure. Will it have any secrets? No, but it will have general information on how to buy, sell and trade various notes and such in the world of Real Estate.
Will that be information that lets you make a fortune? Short answer - NO. Longer, but still pretty short answer - call any local Realty Agent in your home town, and ask him/her if they are taking advantage of Russ Dalbey's incredible money making opportunity! After all, they went to tons of classes and had to pass tests to work in the field of Real Estate, so they no doubt are all over this "opportunity"...or not.
No, they aren't.
So is it a scam, or technically legit? It's both. It's the "gold brick" scam, as far as any normal person is concerned. He is selling you something, but it's so far from what he is leading you to believe, that he may as well have sold you nothing.
Of course, as far as the law is concerned, he is providing technically accurate, but practically useless information. Could a person be rich off of it? Well, it's kind of like me telling you that you can make millions as a physicist, then when you send your money, I send you an "Intro to Physics" book. I've not quite lied - not if I've a good lawyer - but it's so far from what I led you to expect...see what I mean?

To determine if a website is real or a scam, check for signs such as a secure URL (https://), professional design, clear contact information, and customer reviews. You can also search for the website's name along with terms like "scam" or "reviews" to see if others have reported issues. Additionally, look for trust seals or certifications from reputable organizations. If anything seems suspicious or too good to be true, it's best to proceed with caution.
