Everyone, in a sense. Companies use logos to distinguish themselves from other companies, in every market from clothing to oil rig drilling, and we, the consumer, use them to remember the brands we know and love.

Do you not picture the red, white and blue circle when you think of Pepsi, or the check when you think of Nike? Strategic marketing tricks are minds into remembering the logos with the simplest design and the most vivid colors, allowing us to remember symbols for generations to come, and not have to remember the faces of the company managers and operators!
