Honor as his name means, he was an honorable person especially to the church as we read in Corinthians. Titus was talented and a very able man but that did not allow him to dominate as he was working with Paul instead became a like minded person like Paul. He respected Paul, his work and was a companion to Paul. Paul believed in Titus as he was hard working and delivered success in one of the missions which Paul sent him.

Hope this Helps
