Romans did not write the Bible and therefore had no say in what was said about them or what they were reported as having said. The Romans had no opportunity to lie in the Bible, but the Christian authors did have that opportunity. So, the question should perhaps be whether the early Christians lied in the Bible, and arguably they did do so.
There are several different translations of the Bible especially between religions. The St. Ignatius Bible is one of the Catholic translations of the Bible. It's generally used by the more traditional Roman Catholics.
St. Ignatius of Loyola composed his Exercises from 1522 to 1524.

"Ignatius of Loyola did not write any books. However, he did write the Spiritual Exercises, which is a guidebook for a 28-30 day retreat aimed at helping individuals deepen their relationship with God."

"I really doubt it, although it has a small possibility. Most of the Romans, back then burned many of the Bibles instead."Actually there were allot of Pagan Romans who wanted to burn the bible but there were also allot of Christian Romans (the Romans became Christian under Constantine). And the church spent allot of time burning Gospels itself. The Romans (and the church) chose what to put in the Bible (like which of the Gospels went in the Bible). We know that the Romans changed the dates of holy days and they may of had different interpretations of the bible but if they'd actually wanted to edit the bible it would have almost certainly of had to been approved by the church. Some text that could not have been edited still survive and they agree with the bible on most points.
