yes it does mean some thing. usually they start some where in the book and the numbers range from 1 to 26, with blanks being spaces. the weird numbers are a code , you use the alphabet to solve it. like A-1 B-2 C-3 D-4 E-5 and F is 6. this type of code is in at least 3 of the books.
