Precalculus is not something that was invented. It is merely the things about mathematics that you need to know before you can begin the study of calculus.

You will need to study Physics and Mathematics (preferabley with Mechanics) at A-level. Then do a degree in Physics at university though that is to general, you will need to specialise in a certain subject.

Because it will help you in other aspects of mathematics such as algebra inasmuch that an ability to associate letters with numbers will be learnt.
