Yes, there were several US silver coins made dated 2000, none though were intended for circulation. There were silver eagles made ($1 coins sold as silver bullion and are 1 troy ounce of silver), along with silver proof sets (with 90% silver dime, quarters and half-dollar) and a few silver commemorative coins made. Not to mention many foreign silver coins.

None, no circulating US coins are pure silver, all were 90% silver and 10% copper. The total production of 1944 quarters from all 3 Mints was 132,116,800 coins. No Proof quarters were struck from 1943 through 1949.
It's 1776-1976 not 1975-1976- So many of the dual dated quarters were made that only proof and special uncirculated coins sold from the mint have more than face value.
