Very large numbers or very small numbers can be expressed in scientific notation as in the following examples:

0.0000001 = 1.0*10-7

in scientific notation is 2.02 x 10^-7
It is: 5.0413*10^4
0.0000105 in Scientific Notation = 1.05 x 10-5
2.0 x 10^(-4)
You do not divide or multiply notations: you perform those operations on numbers which are expressed in different notations. How you do that depends on which notation you are concerned with.
