The reason why we still have The Bible today is because of the literally millions of faithful Christians, who through the centuries where willing to lay down their lives for the truth. That is the reason there are still bibles that can be found in many countries where if you are caught with one, you will be killed or imprisoned. The way we honor the Bible is by living it out in our daily lives, that is, conforming our conduct to what we say is the truth, applying biblical principals to our every decision, and when we read from the Bible, it is not enough to say "amen" but to be willing, if necessary to add an exclamation mark to that "amen" with our blood.
"If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple. Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple."Luke 14:26
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 7:21
