The question must 1st be asked is "what spacing do you plan to use?"
Local codes will apply of course. Up North spacing is closer than that of the South because of snow loads. 16 inches on center is a good number to use.
You said rafters but I wonder if you meant trusses.
Another problem with answering the question is the roof design.
For a ranch style house you would simply multiply the length in feet by 3 and then divide that by 4 and add one for the end this will give you the number of trusses you need. For rafters you need to multiply your number by 2 and add 4 for the barge rafters.

A polygon is a closed figure made by joining line segments, where each line segment intersects exactly two others. Many figures are polygons, but take any polygon and remove and edge and you have a figure that is not a polygon. So the anwer is yet it can.
Its about 290 miles from Indianapolis to Nashville. Figure about four and a half hours.
You take out your ruler and measure it.
The best way to find the length of the rafters in a ceiling is to go up into the attic. Once a person is in their attic, they should be able to see the rafters and can take a tape measure to find the length of them.
You take the size of your home in square feet and times it by how many rooms you have. A 70,000 BTU furnace will heat a house 1600 square feet.

Distance can't be expressed in time. If it could, then you'd be able to figure out how many minutes high your house is, and how many miles of sleep you had last night. With many thanks to another WA contributor who put his words to my thoughts.
