See related links. This document takes an effort to explain Tamil numbers. But it is by no means complete.
In Tamil, numbers are expressed using specific words for each digit. For example, the number one is "ஒன்று" (onru), two is "இரண்டு" (iraṇṭu), and three is "மூன்று" (mūnru). Larger numbers are formed by combining these basic terms, following a structure similar to that of other languages. Additionally, Tamil has its own numeral system, but Arabic numerals are also widely used in modern contexts.
