Easter isn't mentioned in the bible. Unless you have another bible,, and Easter wasn't something celebrated until way later. ----- Acts 12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put [him] in prison, and delivered [him] to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. ----- The two answers above are in a way correct because in the original manuscripts the word Easter is NOT in the bible, however in modern bibles the word Easter IS found in the bible. The word "Easter" is found in one place in modern bibles (in the above reference given in Acts 12:4), however, the word "Easter" does not give the reader of today an accurate understanding of what is meant when using the word "Easter". To find what is meant by the word "Easter" you have to look at the actual word that was used in the language of the original writing. The word used here in the original text is "Pascha", not "Easter". The word "Pascha" is referring to the Hebrew word "פכח"/"Pasach", the English equivalent of this word is "Passover". The word Passover gives us, the modern day reader, a clearer understanding of what is being referred to in this passage. Using the word "Easter" does not help the modern reader, in fact, it encourages the reader to believe that the word Easter was originally in scripture, and it was NOT.
Easter varies each year as it is based on the cycle of the moon.
The Easter Bunny doesn't exist in real life, so you just say to your child that the Easter Bunny is harmless until your child is old enough to figure out the Easter Bunny doesn't exist.
Not really. A figure of speech is when language diverts from its normal use, and uses words in special ways to promote particular meaning. For example, "falling in love" is a figure of speech, but it does not involve any falling of any sort. So, "Easter egg" isn't really a figure of speech. Chocolate is shaped to form eggs. Or real eggs are blown out, then dyed or decorated. They are eggs specifically for Easter, and the terminology relates directly to both Easter and eggs.

Easter Sunday has a 28 day "swing" cycle. It is celebrated on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox (March 21-22). Sorry I don't have a 2010 calendar but you can figure it out by looking up the first full moon to occur after the spring equinox next year. The following Sunday will be Easter Sunday.
Easter. It is the best feast of Christianity because of the central figure of the religion "Jesus Christ" and his resurrection from the dead.
The concept of the Easter Bunny's curse is not a widely recognized or traditional idea. In folklore and popular culture, the Easter Bunny is typically portrayed as a joyful figure associated with the Easter holiday, bringing eggs and treats. However, if referring to a specific story or interpretation that suggests a curse, it would likely be a creative or fictional narrative rather than a common belief. Overall, the Easter Bunny is generally seen as a symbol of spring and renewal rather than something cursed.
figure out ways to lift things is one answer- but there is much more to Stonehenge than 'lifting things'
