ain't that what religion is about though? you don't really have to see something to believe it, its faith. you just believe that Hes there, or for some people who don't believe in God at all they just don't believe coz they don't really have faith. seeing is not really believing you know..
listen you feel the wind don't you? its not there but you feel it. That is how it is with Jesus. God would never lie to us about that. Actually he cant lie. So read The Bible, pray! talk to God if you don't believe him then you wont be able to feel or witness a miracle!
An Additional Perspective
Are you really saying that we can only know something is true if there is someone alive today who was an eye witness to the event? (And what if that witness lies?). How would we know, for example, that evolution is true? There was no one there to see the first fish begin to walk on land and start the process of becoming an amphibian, was there? You need to think through carefully how we know that historical events happened and what you accept as "proof" of something being true. Once you have done that, I suggest that you read a couple of books, if you really want an answer. One would be "Mere Christianity" by CS Lewis, and the other "The Case For Christ" by Strobel.
"I am the Way, the TRUTH, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by Me." Jesus said these words in John 6:14, so Jesus is the truth.
John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [NKJV]
In the Bible, Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father except by Me." A door is the way to another place. Therefore, Jesus is considered the door to God, the Father and Heaven.
I believe that Jesus is telling you something. In this case you are blessed because you perceived some truth w/out someone revealing it to you, but from reading/studying the Word of God. Just my opinion. God Bless!
78 times in the gospels the words of Jesus "I tell You the Truth" are recorded. I did not count to see how many of these times are retellings by the different authors of the same teaching.
John 17 1 These words spake Jesus... 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
"I am the Way, the TRUTH, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by Me." Jesus said these words in John 6:14, so Jesus is the truth.
yes it does everything in the bible is true and it really happened and all the chapters say that
Here is one from Jesus' own words - He always speaks the truth and he is the truth: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14.6)
It is a quote from Jesus in the Bible at John 8:32.
The bible, jesus. Knowing that it is right, and in the end it will lead to blessings
The bible refers to truth as a sword, and states that the truth will set you free. Jesus also refers to himself as "The way, the truth, and the light."
The Bible alone shows that Jesus is the Son of God and Saviour. If there is any doubt about the factual truth of the Bible, then there is doubt about Jesus as the Son of God and Saviour.
A bible verse about Jesus being the way isJohn 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [NKJV]
Jesus declares in His prayer to His Father: "...Thy Word is TRUTH." (John 17:17) Truth means: Factual. All of the Bible is "factual."
In the Bible, Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father except by Me." A door is the way to another place. Therefore, Jesus is considered the door to God, the Father and Heaven.
