I've owned one for a few months now,Calibration is easy. 1. pull the right hand middle button out once 2. press the left hand compasss button once (the needle will spin twice to let you know it's in calibration mode) 3. slowly spin the watch twice anti-clockwise (taking about 1 min throughout) 4. press the compass button again (needle will swing to and back at the top to let you know it found the magnetic North position) push the right middle button back in. Job Done.
To calibrate compass, pull crown to MIDDLE position. Keep watch level or place on level surface (if band interferes, place watch on inverted cup). Watch may be face down, but take care to protect watch face. Press COMPASS push button to begin. Indicator hand rotates two revolutions to remind you to rotate watch. While level, SLOWLY rotate watch two revolutions, taking at least 15 seconds per revolution. This is critical in achieving proper calibration. When done, press any push button, keeping watch level. Indicator hand moves back and forth to acknowledge end of calibration and then moves to current declination angle setting. If you do not wish to set declination angle, push crown in. Otherwise, to have watch automatically compensate for declination angle, turn compass ring until north is at 12 o'clock. Press either TIDE or TEMP push button to move indicator hand east (+) or west (-) to point to your location's declination angle. On the Expedition analog compass watch:If your needle has begun returning to the rest position pointing away from 12 o'clock, it will also be off from North by the same amount. To reset the rest position, pull the crown ALL the way out, and use the top & bottom right buttons to return it to the 12 o'clock position. Fix the time (clock will have stopped with the crown all the way out.) Push the crown back into the middle position and calibrate (above).
At that level of detail it matters whether it is high tide or low tide!
The laundry detergent Tide became available to the public in 1946. Tide laundry detergent is made by Proctor and Gamble and makes up 30 percent of the detergent market.
TIDE would be 4! or 4*3*2*1 or 24.

To set the compass on your Timex Expedition E-Tide Temp watch, press the mode button until you reach the compass mode. Next, rotate the watch horizontally a few times to calibrate the compass. Once calibrated, point the watch's 12 o'clock position towards the North to use the compass feature.
To set the time on your Timex tide temp watch, press and hold the "mode" button until the time digits start flashing. Use the "advance" and "select" buttons to adjust the hours, minutes, and date. On the timex E tide, the crown has two positions, when you pull it out. The first position is for setting the tide. Pull the crown out to the first position and you should hear a small beep and the tide/temp hand will move to the 12 and 6 o'clock position. The red end of the hand should be at he 12 o'clock position, by default; this is the indicating end of the hand (for temp and tide). Now, use the buttons above or below the crown button to move the red end of the hand left or right around the dial, to the current tide. Once you have that set, push in the crown and check the tide. Push the button below the crown (tide button) and the tide/temp hand should move round to the tide time, you just set (with the red end of the hand marking the tide time)

A tide watch is used to track tides. The location setting needs to be set at the nearest major body of water available in the watch menu. Most tide watches will then automatically follow the low tides of that body of water.
Its in the Tide Pools

One is able to watch the video of Roll Tide at many various sites. However, the most popular is probably YouTube where it can be seen whenever one wants.
First you need to go to Buckly in the Tide Pools. Do all of his tasks and then he will give you Sid's watch
Sometimes you can't do it yourself. It takes a special tool that only a jeweler has. Turn over the back and if it has little notches that takes a special tool. If it is flat you maybe able to pry it off. There should be a little indentation along the edge. Take a small jewelry screwdriver and pry the back off on that indention. If that doesn't come off right away I would take it to a jeweler before you ruin the watch. Some watches aren't worth getting a battery. Just get a new watch.
