Who sells stamps?

Stamp Dealer Actually, I sell US postage stamps on eBay. I sell about 20 to 50 a month. That may seem low, but they sell. Before I sell a stamp I have to know exactly what I am selling, therefore there is a process of identification and grading. Then the stamp is posted on eBay. You do not have to be a dealer to sell stamps. Collectors buy, sell and trade stamps all of the time.

If you know the rule for a table how can you add pairs of numbers to the table?

How do you know how many stamps to use?

Postage is determined by weight and by size. An envelope with three pieces of normal paper can normally be sent with one first class postage stamp. Additional stamps may be required based on additional ounces and on the size of the envelope.

You have several stamps with no value on them and you need to know how much they are so you can use them and put the correct postage on the envelope?

To determine the value of your stamps without denomination, you can try researching them online or contacting a stamp collector or dealer. They may be able to provide information based on the design, color, and any other identifying features. Alternatively, you can take them to a local post office and inquire about their value or if they can be exchanged for stamps of the same value.

Unique Phil has 15 stamps of denominations 0.37 and 0.23 If the total value of the stamps is 4.85 how many 0.37 stamps does Phil have?

Use the variable of x for the number of 37 cent stamps. Use the variable of y for the 23 cent stamps. We know that .37x + .23y = 4.85 We also know that x+y = 15 Subtract y from both sides of the equation. So x = 15 -y Substitute (15-y) in the first equation. .37(15-y) + .23y = 4.85 5.55 -.37y + .23y = 4.85 5.55 - .14y = 4.85 5.55 = 4.85 + .14y 5.55 - 4.85 = .14y .7 = .14y .7/.14 = y 5 = y Therefore x = 10 .37(10) + .23(5) = 4.85
