This is not reported in The Bible.
The Romans were known to use crucifixion as a punishment and they may have had a supplier of wood - in bulk, as it were. It is unlikely that they bought the one used for Jesus especially.
Don't forget, two other people were crucified that day - so three crosses were needed. They may have 'recycled' previously used crosses. They may even have used wood 'scheduled' for everyday building work.
Well first off, Jesus didn't die on a cross, he died on a pole. (Mathew 27:38) And the bible doesen't mention anything about the cost of the pole. === === == The cross of Jesus itself would not have cost much in terms of the timber and it is likely that the Romans re-used the cross after each execution. If you mean the cost of the cross in terms of what happenned there then the answer is quite different. The cross of Jesus cost the eternal Son of God, the creator of the world immense pain and in the end His life. The Romans had to coin a new word 'excruciating' (which comes from the Latin word crucis meaning 'a cross') to describe the pain which resulted when the hands were nailed, just above the wrist, and the relevant nerve pinched. Jesus was also utterly alone and forsaken by even His heavenly Father as He bore the sin of the world - including all those who hated Him then and others who hate Him still today, and even including those who don't believe in sin.
There is nothing in the bible about Jesus being hung on a cross by three nails. It only records the account of him being crucified -- nothing about the specific method used.
The word cross is mentioned 28 times in KJV and 46 times in NIV so the count depends on which translation you use. The word "cross" may refer to the Roman form of execution or be used as a verb, for example, to cross a lake so the context is important. As they were going out, they met a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross.- Matthew 27:32 (NIV)When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake.- Matthew 8:18 (NIV)
It will cost between $4600 and $6100 depending on the contractor, number of layers to remove and material used.
The temple was used for selling and buying. And this act angered Jesus according to the bible.
the cross is used to remember Jesus and how Jesus died
When Jesus was on the cross no knife was used by the roman soldier , he used his spear.
