Assuming it's the same thickness as a normal dime, you have what's called a "flan". This error occurs when a coin blank accidentally slips into the bin with coins that have already been struck.
If your flan has a smooth edge, it's worth about $1. If it has upturned edges like a regular coin but no design, it's worth about $2.
About $30
A dime is worth 10 pennies. A dime is worth 1/10 of a dollar.
A blank dime planchet is worth about $1 if it does not have a raised rim, or about $2 if it has a raised edge like the edge of a normal dime. FWIW, coins are "struck" rather than "stamped". Just coin jargon, that's all.
A US dime is worth either:ten penniestwo nickles
Since a penny blank won't fit into the machine when it's stamping dimes, it is virtually impossible to strike a dime on a penny blank. You would need to have your coin professionally examined and certified before you could even consider putting a value on it. Try checking out the ANACS Show page to see if they will be attending any coin shows in your area, where you can take your coin and have it examined for free : http://www.anacs.com/Default.aspx?Page=4
