See answer to question: ' How do you add together 1666 and 1999 in two different ways using Roman numerals'
No, you can do Sudoku with letters or shapes sometimes. You don't actually have to add or subtract or do math calculations when playing it.
I expect a Roman would notice that 1999 is only I less than MM, so he would used MM plus the others, take-away one I. Similarly for the others. So you have MM+XX+L less III = MMLXVII. In two different ways: take off the III before adding LXX or take it off afterwards instead.
Yes. EDIT: Actually a day is 4 minutes short of 24 hours - which is why the sun rises and sets at different times throughout the year !
Notwithstanding todays modern conversion of 1999 and 14 into Roman numerals which are MCMXCIX and XIV respectively inasmuch that there exist credible evidence to suggest that the ancient Romans would have added together the equivalent of 1999 and 14 in either of the following formats:- A: IMM+IXV = MMXIII => (2000-1)+(15-1) = 2013 B: MDCCCCLXXXXVIIII+XIIII = MMXIII => 1999+14 = 2013 Not that for more complicated calculations the ancient Romans would have used an abacus calculating device.
Because there is an angle involved. If - for example - the resistance (the real part) is 10 ohms, and the reactance (the imaginary part) is also 10, then there is an angle of 45 degrees; which actually means that this will be the displacement angle between the voltage and the current.Impedance may just be specified with an angle; but it turns out that the calculations between voltage, current, and impedance correspond precisely to the calculations with complex numbers.Because there is an angle involved. Yes. there were actually a few dozen different guardians throughout the different series.
Bleach is not heterogeneous. Bleach is actually homogeneous. Heterogeneous is if it the same throughout. Homogeneous is if it is different (has chunks and clumps of different materials).
There are actually thousands of different types and recipes for cookies from all around the world and throughout history.

It might help if "the following" actually followed!
By doing all the calculations required, but not actually filing the forms. You really can't estimate your refund without doing the calculations in at least an approximate form.
You can look at it in different ways; the following explanations are actually quite related to one another:1) You need to apply force, against the force of gravity. 2) You are going to a place where you have a higher gravitational potential energy.
supernatural explanations is not testable and falsifiable- you cannot check the validity of the idea or reveal that an reveal that an idea is actually not true. Science requires natural explanations for natural phenomena, it can neither support nor falsify hypothesis that angels, ghosts, or spirits, whether good or evil, cause storms, rainbows, illlnesses, or cures.
Most maternity clothes have elastic and will stretch as you grow.
Yes it is actually. we did an expiriment that tested it. By our calculations, slug slime is stickier. :) but not by much....

It is not normally used for doing them, but you can actually do calculations in Microsoft Word. In the Table menu there is an option called Formula which allows you to do some. If you want to do a lot of calculations you are better off to use Microsoft Excel.
