Somebody gave an invalid answer. Not wanting to be accused of blanking, I left it here and added the correct answer on May 1, 2012. Apparently because the invalid answer was still here, the whole thing got blanked. (See the History tab). Anyway, here is a copy of my answer, which is totally consistent with Fuzzy Logic's answer about 57,000: Using just the letters, you would have to write 57 M's and then the Roman numeral for 57, which is LVII. But if you allow the trick of representing thousands by writing a bar over a numeral, you could write LVII with a bar over all 4 letters, and then another LVII.
