Jesus mentions money many times in the New Testament. He said to his followers to 'give that which belongs to Caesar, to Caesar, and give that which belongs to God, to God. (Luke 20:22-25). Christ was not ignorant of the roll money played in the lives of humans. He blessed a woman who gave her last coin to the contribution(Luke 21:1-4). Other statements include:Not to put up riches of this earth but with a loving God where He will grant eternal life(Luke 8:14)(Luke 16:13) (1 Timothy 6:17-19)'It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man into Heaven'.(Mark 10:23-25) He also hated the misuse of money and greed(John 2:14-17) (Matthew 21:12-13)
