If you have a friend who is suicidal, first be sure it is not a secret between the two of you. Suicide is an issue that most friends are not equipped to deal with on their own. Be supportive, but make sure they are getting help from someone in a position to make sure they get proper help. It is never easy to know someone you care about wants to die, but try to be strong for them and help them get the care they need.

There is no law stating that suicide is illegal. Aiding suicide is illegal. If someone attempts suicide a judge can deem someone "crazy", and force them in to a psych ward. This is because it is reasonable to assume that someone that attempts suicide is not mentally stable. But there will be no criminal charge (unless a crime was broken during the suicide, like possession of a controlled substance when someone tries to OD).
Shehr-e-khamoshan (Graveyard) is the only city have no suicide attempts....
