The Gentile nations need to know that the God of The Bible is the only God. And that his name is unique and should be also be put on high and not ignored concealed or taken out of the scriptures. The King James translation says. "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth. (Note his name is capitalized.) Many translations have removed this name and inserted LORD. This is a title. Jesus said. There are many Lords and many Gods. and in John 17:20, Jesus says in prayer to his Father. "And I have declared unto them thy name and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them (K.J.) Every one, in every family has a name. This includes our pets. How much more so to recognize and put on high the name of the Father of all the families of this earth. Revelation 3:12. which are Jesus words, says. "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and I will write upon him the name of my God ". (K.J.) If you have a friend but say to others you don't know his name yet, they would know doubt wonder, what sort of a friend is he.
