Eve was the 1st woman and 2nd person ever created on Earth. (Genesis 2:7, 21-22) She was to be complement and helper to Adam, as well as be the mother of all that would be born. (Genesis 3:20) Had she stayed faithful and obeyed Jehovah God, she would still be alive today since the only way they would die would've been by partaking the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Bad. (Genesis 2:16-17)

She also serves as an example of what happens when man tries to do things without Jehovah's help/guidance; Failure is always the end result. This is because mankind was not created to operate successfully without Him, regardless of whether they're perfect or not. (Jeremiah 10:23; Matthew 4:4) Eve acted on impulse, consulting neither Jehovah or Adam before making her decision, which caused her to act in ignorance. Adam on the other hand, wasn't fooled but selfishly still went along with her decision. (Genesis 3:6; 1 Timothy 2:14)

Following Jehovah's principles & commands is what leads to a satisfying life, both now and in the future. (Isaiah 48:17-18)
