Matsyanaya, or the "Fish Incarnation," is one of the ten avatars (Dashavatara) of the Hindu god Vishnu. In this form, Vishnu is said to have taken the shape of a fish to save humanity and the sacred scriptures (Vedas) from a great deluge. He guided a king named Manu and his boat, which carried various species of life, to safety during the flood. This story emphasizes themes of preservation and divine intervention in times of crisis.
