The Book of Genesis gives us the opportunity to understand why God created the earth, what was his purpose for the human race, why things went from bad to worse, and why suffering and death exist, due to the fact that Jehovah is a loving God. According to Genesis 1: 31 God was proud and satisfy of His creation. Which means that after Jehovah God had completed his earthly creative work, happiness with endless blessing was the prospect set before the human race. Psalms 104: 24 reminds us about that fact, in these words. " How many your works are. O Jehovah! You have made all of them in wisdom. The earth is full of what you have made. " 1 Timothy 4:4 confirms that idea in these words. " For every creation of God is fine, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving. Genesis chapter 3 and Romans 5: 12 is mankind's history. It explains how the first couple was deceived and how imperfection and death was spead like a disease on the human race. The description of God's love for his creation is expressed in Genesis 3: 15 which shows what He immediately put in place, when the first couple decided to no longer live up to His requirements. That Scripture explains that from that day due to the bad choice of Adam and Eve, there were going to have two offsprings and that one of those offsprings will be crushed. That prophecy that Jehovah stated in the garden of Eden, as recorded at Genesis 3: 15, pointed to events that would fulfill his purpose but would not occur until thousands of years later. The final event of that prophecy, is the crushing of Satan's head. However 1 John 5: 19 shows the the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one, and Revelation 12: 9 describes the wicked one as the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth. Jehovah showed his love for mankind, when he sent His precious Son to earth to redeem the human race from the curse of sin and death and to undo all the damage caused by Satan 2'000 years ago. Read John 3: 16; 1 John 3: 8. When Jesus was on earth, he told us to pray for God's kingdom to come, where his Father's will, will take place as in heaven also on earth. Read Matthew 6: 9,10. That Kingdom is God's government that will undo all the harm that millenniums of human rule have done. It will provide: Perfect health, peace and security, and a clean environment for all those who choose God's leadership, that the first couple rejected. Read Isaiah 33: 24, Revelation 21: 4; Isaiah 54: 13; Micah 4: 4; Isaiah 35: 1 Psalm 37: 29 shows what our future holds in these words. " The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it, which has always been God's purpose.
