There are many. The account of Sodom and Gomorrah is a good one where God destroyed it because of homosexuality, which He calls an "abomination". Another is where He came to earth as Jesus Christ, born of a sinful virgin, cast out demons, raised people from death and healed people. The parting of the red sea is another good one. God has command over everything, including nature. This is proven in the Word of God.

In the story of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, the relationship between the gods and their demigod children is complex. The gods often exhibit neglect towards their demigod children, leading them to face challenges and dangers on their own. Ultimately, the bond between the gods and their demigod children is characterized by a mix of indifference and occasional assistance.
The myth of Otus and Ephialtes illustrates the folly of attempting to surpass the gods through their audacious plan to stack mountains to reach the heavens and capture the gods. Their hubris leads to their downfall, as they underestimate the divine power and wisdom of the gods, ultimately resulting in their demise. This story serves as a cautionary tale, emphasizing that human ambition and arrogance can never truly rival the divine order. Their failure reinforces the idea that mortals should respect the boundaries set by the gods rather than challenge them.
